ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP OR LINE OF AUTHORITY:
Directly responsible to Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent Student Services
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker certification preferred;
- Experience with elementary age students preferred;
- Certification in Non Violent Crisis Methodology/Safety Care beneficial;
- Experience with social emotional and therapeutic environments;
- Ability to develop and implement behavioral plans;
- Knowledge of crisis intervention, strong parent communication skills, ability to conduct behavioral assessments/observations, and a strong desire to work with challenging students is required;
- Strong Executive Functioning skills;
- Ability to collaborate with teachers and other service providers within the district as well as outside therapists, medical professionals, and parents

POSITION: Licensed Social Worker - Elementary
REPORTS TO: Building Principal(s), Assistant Superintendent of Student Services
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Case management for students, families, and outside agencies.
- Treatment planning that includes evidence-based data collection and analysis.
- In-class social pragmatic and self-regulation skill development groups for students.
- Individual and/or small group therapy.
- Consultation to teaching staff.
- Participation in Team meetings and outside service provider meetings as needed.
- In-class behavior management support as needed.
- Crisis intervention, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker certification preferred;
- Experience with elementary age students preferred;

- Experience with social emotional and therapeutic environments;
