Tutor - Special Education

Assignment: Multi-Age Learning Center / TLC

(This is a vacancy due to a one year leave of absence)

Furnace Brook Middle School

35 hours per week

As soon as possible for the 2026-2027 School Year

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP OR LINE OF AUTHORITY:

Directly responsible to Special Education Department Head, Building Principal, and Assistant Superintendent Student Services

QUALIFICATIONS:            

• BS/BA in education preferred.
• MA DESE License preferred.
• Strong desire to work with special needs children.
• Ability and experience working with students who have social/emotional and behavior challenges.
• Ability to work effectively with teachers and students.
• High personal integrity, reliability, punctuality, and ability to maintain confidentiality required.
